I was wondering when someone would put together a DIY for this conversion. Great work - I have all my parts already to do this.

FYI: The power transistor from a EDM/USDM/CDM 1997-01 CR-V or 99-00 USDM/CDM Civic (p/n 79330-S10-A41) can be substituted for 79330-SR3-941, and requires no modification to the blower assembly. Also, the A/C thermostat does not need to be swapped - the only difference is the length of the wire (shorter, if I recall).

Will the sunbeam sensor not fit in the proper dash location? Could you not Dremel a square hole out?

And ... how about some photos of the finished product... ;)

^^ Perhaps someone can also translate this to German. 8)

Yes, the original thermostat can be used again.

The evaporator unit is from the EJ / EK-Series (Base is your DIY OEM Cabin Air / Pollen Filter retrofit). Since the thermostat is shown installed.

For the position of the sun light sensor I had only the sketch of the JDM EPC as a template. At the JDM instrument panel is a chamber at the position of the screw from the EDM instrument panel.

I did not like dremeln / drill into the dashboard, so I went for the air nozzle.

Completed pictures can I hand until the summer, at them moment is the car disassembled. again ;)

Ah, OK. Well, here is the position of the sunlight sensor. Centre of dash, between windshield defroster vents.

Hey- I sought to discover if I could find the correct lower section to the blower assembly with the mount for the relay, and the power transistor that will fit without modification:
