Hondapower,

Need some help with a car I just scooped up. I picked up a 2004 Artic blue pearl Accord, with all the knock off Mugen Gooddies for a very good deal. Unfortunately the car wasn't running. The previous owner explained it to me what was going on so I told him ill gladly take it of your hands.

Problems:

NO check engine light at initial start "AT ALL". Changed the grounds, terminals, tested alternator, starter as well as new battery.
Tested and replaced majority of the fuses and relays, and fuel pump .........STILL NOTHING...............

As I did my research I came to find out that this car was a recall on European models as well as US spec TSX especially in states with heavy salt usage.

Pulled the ECU out, come to find out there was corrosion inside the boards as well as rust in the surrounding areas of the ECU.

I assumed putting an Acura TSX (k24a2) ECU would do the job, but no really.

ANY ideas what can be done here in Germany to replace or which ECU I can use in replace of the old one.

THANKS HONDAPOWER!

So there is no MIL with your K24 ECU? Did you assure good grounding for the ECU itself? If there is still no MIL, u should search for grounding problems of the ECU.
