Includes everything what is needed, not only panel that will not work alone (ebay case).
The principe of an automatic climate control is: it lets to keep the interior temperature constant - exactly llike VW Klimatronic. You set for example 22 celcius degrees on the panel, if it is colder outside it will heat up to 22 degrees but no more, if it is cooler outside it will descend the temp to 22 degrees, but not less). The normal climate control does not have this functionality, it gives cold / hot only without measuring the tepmerature conditions.
If the air flow direction AUTO button is pressed, the microprocessor selects the best direction to blow air to achieve the optimal settings. In other words it selects where to blow itself. It switches on and off the air condition too. This can be overrided by selecting another button, for example blow to the legs or to put the air conditioner off all the time.
Idem for fan speed control - if set to AUTO position the fan speed changes itself.
The panel is electronic pushbutton type with display not mechanical as in case of an manual climate control panel. The fan speed changes freely, not only 0-1-2-3 speed position. It is because a power transistor is used, commanded via the control unit, not a simple 3 position resistor, commanded by a simple switch.
This climate control does not use metal control cable to command hot / cold mixer, it is entirely electrically motorised.
The auto climate harness that is included just connects to the existing car harness - only 7 solderings to be done. It is a custom made harness.
Mechanically the only problem to solve is to add the air mix servomotor to the non auto climate control heater box. On prelude it is easily achieved just by mounting this servomotor upside down - I can provide the pictures how it is done.
The kit contains:
1. Control unit with digital display
2. Air mix servomotor
3. Heater core temp sensor
4. Interior air temp sensor
5. Exterior air temp sensor
6. Sun beam sensor
7. Evaporator temp sensor
8. Power transistor for blower
9. High speed relay for blower
10. Custom made electrical harness (in original japanese car it is integrated within wehicle main harness).
Very rare item, especially being 100% complete kit
Looking for around 250 euros.
